“3D” is the most outstanding point which players remember about Retrovive Resource Pack. With only low 16x resolution but this pack is excellent for Minecraft 1.8.1 because it make simple textures expand in all direction instead of just up. If you have played Minecraft for a long time, you will see that many textures tend to be flat as a paper.
This pack fixes this glaring problem and does what few simple resource packs manage to do when it makes everything in Minecraft pop right out of the screen. Also, this pack make simple textures like water look better. Players may see brighter reds, greens and blues at all. Thought, making color dominant just helps create a kind of cartoony effect but not any negation and overpower. So, realism lovers will relatively cartoon pack.
The Hyperion Team is planning develop the Retrovive. They will promote the resolution to higher levels and create more different version. Actually, they are developing a 32x version and a Christmas edition may appear toward the end of this year.
