If anyone has desire to see the world when being in sort of apocalypse, you should try the End is Extremely Nigh resource pack which makes minecraft like something after the detonation of a massive bomb. Many textures don’t completely look like what kind of apocalypse but simple, battered and worn.
With 32x resolution, this pack is improved extremely over the vanilla game’s 16x resolution, but it is not too high for players to enjoy. Many blocks are made from wood or stone material, even outside of the usual wood blocks and planks and various cobblestone creations.
Honestly, this pack seems to take place during the end of the world rather than after it. Besides, this pack is expected to be very good if going along with mods having desperate and violent mobs. However, if not, it still do its responsibility well. That is to create a dangerous place.
