Having some opinions that Minecraft is much similar with a cartoon to take the game seriously. In contrast, some players want the game to look more like a cartoon because this video game is not realistic at the first place. The Triton Resource Pack is designed for those who want to make their blocks, items and textures colorful and vibrant. The pack includes some cel-shaded graphics which you can find in action on basic blocks and textures. For instance, the grass which you try to hit for wheat seeds will look so awesome and cel-shaded.
Other textures also take that same computer generated look with grass. The resolution is in the middle level. That means it is not so high that normal players can not use the pack, it is not also so low so that textures look bad, blocky and blurry. Some players feel angry because of lag with the Triton resource pack, on the other hand, those who have weaker machine don’t complain anything about framerates. So maybe they encounter other problems except lag.
Cel-shading seems to be much easier on GPUs compared to textures. That is its highlight over other types of drawing and animations.
