The Xenocontendi resource pack by Disethas is really for those who want to have smooth textures with a natural feel. Despite not using 3D textures, this pack still creates pseudo 3D effects by the use of different colors. This pack completed its responsibility very well when applying shading and different tones of the same color on blocks.
An interesting thing in this pack is that it does not change completely everything into something new although it makes them look different. That means Xenocontendi makes your building look nice but it remains good look if you return to use vanilla Minecraft textures. If you want to know directly its effect, let’s try yourselves!
Xenocontendi includes several custom sound files which make sound nicer than the vanilla sound. Players should have Optifine or MCPatcher installed to enjoy the best experience with this pack.
