If you are a big fan of the original Soartex resource pack, you will probably love this one so much – the Soartex Fanver Resource Pack. It’s a fan-made version, which not only makes use of some textures from the original pack but also implements many great newer ones.

Unlike the original one of Soartex that does not see many updates these days, the Soartex Fanver resource pack matches with all the way up to Minecraft 1.9, which is the latest version of the game at this point of time. All of the new textures on the pack seem detailed, but not photo-realistic; really colorful, but not all bright pastels, making the game look a lot like a cartoon. One great feature is the transparent water that you can actually see through as long as the light nearby is bright enough. Of course, now you see everything lying at the bottom of ponds, rivers, lakes, and even parts of the ocean where the water is not especially deep thanks to this very nice feature of the Soartex Fanver resource pack.
